We are looking for talented and creative scientists and engineers to help us deliver innovative digital engineering solutions.

Primarily, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Universal Digital Twin, Knowledge Graph Services team.

Tasks:

You will

  • Directly contribute to the development and application of our Universal Digital Twin – Knowledge Graph services
  • Use cutting-edge technology to deliver novel solutions to customer problems
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for fellow developers and users
Expectations:
  • You have a relevant graduate/postgraduate degree (Computer Science, Physics, Maths, Engineering, etc.) from an established university/college (2:1 or above)
  • You have actively developed software using object-oriented programming (e.g. Java)
  • You regularly use at least one scripting language (e.g. Python) to manipulate and visualise data
  • You are comfortable using the command line on Unix/Linux systems
  • You are able to systematically address novel and often highly technical tasks
  • You can demonstrate excellent documentation practices and reporting of technical workflows
  • You can deliver precise, high-quality results in both written and oral form
  • You are well-organised and able to work to deadlines in a dynamic, customer-driven environment
  • Experience in writing commercial software
  • Experience with developing in modern IDEs (e.g. Visual Studio, VSCode, Netbeans)
  • Experience of working with containerisation technology, like Docker
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ontologies and their use in semantic web applications
  • Knowledge of container orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
  • Experience of working with remote (e.g. cloud-based) Linux/Unix servers
