Full Stack Developer

Job description:

We are looking for talented and creative developers to help us deliver innovative digital engineering solutions. Primarily, we are looking for
an enthusiastic individual to join our Universal Digital Twin team.

You will:

  • Directly contribute to the development and application of our Universal Digital Twin & Knowledge Graph services
  • Use cutting-edge technology to deliver novel solutions to customer problems
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for fellow developers and users
  • You have a STEM degree from an established university (2:1 or above)
  • 2+ years of professional experience developing and delivering software tools to customers
  • Proficient with Object-Oriented languages and paradigms (e.g. Java)
  • Experience of developing and maintaining high-quality web-based interfaces (e.g. HTML, JS, CSS)
  • You are comfortable using version control systems (e.g. Git) and Unix environments
  • You can demonstrate excellent documentation practices and reporting of technical workflows
  • You can deliver precise, high-quality results in both written and oral form
  • You are well-organised and able to work to deadlines in a dynamic, customer-driven environment
  • You regularly use at least one scripting language (e.g. Python) to manipulate and/or visualise data
  • Solid understanding of containerisation technology and its use in industry (e.g. Docker)
  • Experience administrating/querying remote data stores (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.)
  • Experience with common web methodologies/libraries (e.g. REST APIs, React, NodeJS etc.)
  • Knowledge of ontologies and their use in semantic web applications
  • Interest in/knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Interest in setting up, administrating, and maintaining computer hardware (e.g. systems administration)
