The EMMC Organisational Partner Materials Center Leoben Forschung GmbH (MCL) is investigating the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the development of Green Materials.

Here, the term Green Materials is used to refer to innovative materials that substitute materials with large CO2 footprints or other environmentally harmful properties, or existing materials that are used in innovative ways to reduce negative environmental impacts.

This online survey shall document the status quo in Austria as seen by the following target groups:

• Organizations with a sectorial focus on Energy, Mobility, Construction, Electronics, Medical technology, Information and communication technology.
• Academic and research institutions in the areas of materials research and engineering, AI, and sustainability.
• AI technology providers/AI key players.
• Stakeholders in environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society organizations.
