Ennio Capria is the Deputy Head of Business Development at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, France.
He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Cranfield University in the UK. His early research focused on developing nanobiosensors and nanocomposites.
In 2011, Ennio joined Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, where he specialized in manufacturing optoelectronic devices and their characterization using synchrotron light.
He moved to ESRF in 2013 where he launched the Platform for Advanced Characterisation for Nanoelectronics. In his current role, Ennio facilitates collaborations between the ESRF and industry, promoting the application of synchrotron technologies across various sectors.
