Eva Kathrin Schillinger

Bio

Eva Schillinger is an organic chemist by training and obtained her PhD in materials chemistry at the University of Ulm, Germany.

She currently is the Secretary General of the Innovative Advanced Materials Initiative (IAM-I), the association behind the co-programmed oublic private partnership, IAM4EU. Before, Eva worked as Senior Innovation Manager at Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council and secretary for SusChem, the European Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry.

During her career in industry prior to joining Cefic, Eva held several positions in Research, Development and Innovation management at BASF Coatings, a daughter company of BASF.

Eva started her career as scientific editor for Angewandte Chemie, a Wiley-VCH journal.

 

Abstract

IAM4EU – the new co-programmed public private partnership for Advanced Materials under Horizon Europe

IAM4EU, the new Innovative Advanced Materials for the European Union co-programmed public private partnership for funding under Horizon Europe will be presented.

The partnership will take up its work in March 2025 and will have a 250m€ budget out of the Horizon Europe budget earmarked for the topics developed under it from 2025-2027. The current state and the Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda (SRIA) of IAM4EU and how interested higher education institutions, research organisations, SMEs and larger industries can participate in the multidisciplinary network on innovative advanced materials of IAM-I will be discussed.
