Psi-k 2022 conference - https://www.psik2022.net/ - is the largest worldwide conference in electronic structure, attracting more than 1000 participants. It will take place Lausanne during August 22-25, 2022.
Together with Jan Hamaekers (Fraunhofer SCAI), Jose Gamez (Covestro), Geoffrey Pourtois (Imec) and Umberto Martinez (EMMC Organisational Member SYNOPSYS) are organizing a Symposium targeting materials modeling in industry and in particular on Electronic structure calculations and molecular modeling in industry with invited speakers – as well as we expect several contributed talks - from industry working with materials modeling, some of them already familiar with EMMC.
The conference program will be structured around 3.5 days, that will include 6 plenary talks as well as 38 symposia in 6 parallel sessions (~120 invited talks and ~170 contributed talks).
With more than 1000 participants attending the past editions, it promises to be the most exciting, defining event in the field, offering an intense but enjoyable atmosphere, in addition to a chance to explore the beautiful region around Lausanne and Lake Geneva.
