Dr. Nadja Adamovic is the President of European Materials Modelling Council Association (www.emmc.eu) since 2019, having the role to increase the industrial digitalisation and exploitation of material modelling in Europe. She was a chair woman of EMMC since its start (2014) and the Coordinator of EU funded project EMMC-CSA (in the period 2016-2019).
Dr. Nadja Adamovic has MSc in Electrical Engineering (1993), PhD in MicroSystem Technologies at the TU Wien (in 1996), is employed at TU Wien as senior scientist. She has more than 20 years’ experience in development of advanced materials and technologies for various applications. Her research focus included also modelling of materials and systems in particular in the field of microsystems and in photovoltaics.
She was the Coordinator in more than 20 EU- and national research projects, is in the advisory board of several H2020 EU projects and was involved in policy dialogs for Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. In addition, she collaborated as external expert to European cluster activities, in particular to Creative Cluster, where the collaboration between Material Researchers & Creative Community was fostered, and to the Engineering and Upscaling Cluster.
Dr. Adamovic is an active member of several networks and associations, e.g. Austrian Photovoltaic Technology Platform, Multi-Material Micro Manufacturing Association, BioNanoNet Network…
