i-TRIBOMAT is an EU Horizon 2020 project with the aim of launching Open Innovation Test Bed (OITB) for tribological material characterization: THE EUROPEAN TRIBOLOGY CENTER.

The OITB offers from tribological characterization of new materials to simulation models for predicting the performance of industrial components. The service catalogue can be found in i-TRIBOMAT’s website.

For companies, i-TRIBOMAT’s Early Adopters’ Call is a chance to carry out tribology-related testing/simulations for free.

The costs will not be invoiced to the Early Adopters but covered by the project budget. For the i-TRIBOMAT consortium, the Early Adopters’ Call is a way of promoting i-TRIBOMAT’s platform while, at the same time, spotting flaws on their procedures, i.e., a machine test run.
